Used Heckel contra bassoon. Includes 4 Heckel contra bocals.

Used Lange contra bassoon. An excellent Heckel like contra made in the early 1900s.
Our understanding is that Lange worked at Heckel, then started making instruments under his own name. A lawsuit ensued and he stopped making instruments.

Used 4000 series flat back Heckel, made in 1902. Just overhauled and in excellent condition. The wood is in very good shape, with the exception of the wing joint tenon. At some point in the distant past the tenon was damaged. Although the old repair seems solid, but ugly, we don't know exactly what happened and what was done to it.
As manufactured its key system was somewhat limited. At some point (when and by whom we don't know) the whisper key, high G key, and water tubes were added.
Comes with Heckel C0 and CD1 bocals.
