Everyone is familiar with Stephan Leitzinger's bassoon bocals, now we have equally fine bocals for contra bassoon! Available in two types: <span class="bodybold">"M"</span> is the standard bocal:<ul style="padding-top:0;margin-top:0;padding-bottom:0;margin-bottom:0"><li>relaxed playing, even in dynamic extremes</li><li>full tone with exceptional projection</li><li>even scale and tone throughout the entire range of the instrument</li><li>optimal blowing resistance</li></ul><span class="bodybold">"F"</span> is a "super bocal", all the properties of the "M" model plus:<ul style="padding-top:0;margin-top:0;padding-bottom:0;margin-bottom:0"><li>more stable intonation without affecting the evenness of tone</li><li>greater volume</li><li>secure response and projection in all registers and dynamics</li><li>full, soft tone throughout the entire range</li></ul>Each bocal is individually soldered, hammered and bent by hand, then plated with either silver, gold, or platinum. Leitzinger contrabassoon bocals are available in standard lengths of 1, 2 and 3.
