Korg DT4 Chromatic Tuner
A new compact and unique high performance tuner from Korg, using bright LEDs around its circumference to display three types of tuning modes.
·  In strobe mode The green LEDs will stop moving when your instrument is in tune. The LEDs will move in a clockwise direction if the pitch of your instrument is sharp, or counter-clockwise if it is flat. When the tuning is correct, the two tuning guides will also light simultaneously.
·  In mirror mode when the two green LED's at the lower left and right coincide, you're perfectly tuned. The bright green LED will move to the right of center if the input pitch is sharp, or to the left if it is flat. The distance between the bright green and dim green LED's indicate the distance to perfect tuning.
·  In meter mode you tune your instrument so that the bright green LED is aligned with the red tuning guide in the center as on a conventional needle type tuner.
·  In spite of its compact size (fits in the palm of your hand), the illuminated circumference and large note name display provide excellent visibility.

Key Chain Chromatic Tuner
This new Seiko tuner is so small you can use it as a key fob, so you are never without it! Features include a built in microphone, auto power off, auto tuning mode, LED tuning guide and note indicator.
The tuner measures 3/4" X 3/16" X 1 1/2" and weighs .7 oz. Includes battery (CR1220), key ring, & clip.

Korg LCA-120 Chromatic Tuner
Opening the flip top of this new compact tuner reveals a tuner with lots of features.
· Extra large backlit LCD turns on when sound is detected

Korg CA-30 Chromatic Tuner
Korg has done it again! An affordably priced chromatic tuner that responds to oboe and bassoon equally well. This tuner is about the size of a deck of playing cards and has an easy to read analog display on a flat screen. Can be set for either manual or automatic modes. Batteries included

Korg Chromatic Orchestral Tuner OT-120

Korg AW-1 Micro Chromatic Tuner
An ultra compact, ultra lightweight chromatic tuner you can attach to your oboe or bassoon for easy and accurate tuning. Pitch detection is through the piezo clip or the internal microphone.
Use one of the included detachable clips to attach it directly to your instrument, and the internal piezo pickup will detect the vibration of your instrument, for stable tuning even in a noisy environment. Two types of clip (large and small) are included, accommodating both oboe and bassoon. All the benefits of a standard contact microphone, but with no cords. Or, you can use the clip to fasten the tuner to your music stand and use the internal microphone for tuning.

Tuner functions include:

The metronome has a large speaker that produces a clear and distinct metronome sound. Metronome functions also include:
· Beat mode; choose from preset tempo and time signatures.
· Tap mode; lets you specify your own tempo. Thirteen rhythm variations for practicing a wide range of styles.
· Tap Tempo function lets you detect and set the desired tempo simply by pressing the Metronome mode START/STOP button at the desired timing in a range of 40-208 bpm.

Chromatic Tuner and Metronome, Boss TU-80
A small, lightweight automatic tuner with reference pitch, Accu-Pitch (sounds a tone when pitch is correct), LCD screen, and LED tuning guides. Pitch adjusts from A435 to A446, tuning range is E0 to C8. The metronome tempos range from 30 to 250 bpm, with 7 rhythms, 10 beats, and animated display.

Electronic Pickups

Korg CM-100 Tuner Pickup (Contact Microphone)
This Piezo transducer PU (contact microphone) clips directly to the instrument, which eliminates background noise interference. Converts most tuners to "acoustic" tuners for precise, interference free tuning. Fits oboe, English horn, bassoon, and most other instruments.

Bassoon Bocal Pickup, With Adapter and Cord
This is the first reasonably priced bassoon pickup assembly available. Suggested by Jarret Rossini, and endorsed by Paul Hanson and Michael Rabinowitz.
The kit includes the Telex pickup (125 Ohm), a 5' cable (with 1/4" plug) and the special machined brass adapter (made in Forrests' shop).
Installation by a repair technician is required, the adapter must be soft soldered to the bocal, and a small hole drilled in the bocal. There is a small possibility that installing this unit may minutely affect the sound of the bocal, so you may not want to do this to your best bocal. Forrests cannot predict, and is not responsible for, possible changes to your bocal due to the installation of this product.

Bocal Pickup with Fox 2C Bocal
Now available, a Fox 2C bocal with pre-installed S-29 Bocal Pickup. Perfect if you're not quite sure you want to try this on your own bocal. Included are the bocal (with adapter installed at no cost), electronic pickup, and cord.

You must enclose a copy of your original Forrests invoice as proof of purchase whenever returning an item for warranty repairs. We recommend you insure, or request proof of delivery, any item you return for warranty service.

Korg tuners & metronomes have a 1 year limited warranty. For return instructions call Korg at 631-390-6500.

Seiko have a 1 year limited warranty. Return to Forrests and we will arrange for warranty evaluation from the distributor.

Boss and Edirol (Roland Corp.) products have a 1 year parts, 90 days labor limited warranty. Call Roland to obtain a return authorization at 323-890-3700.

The Yamaha tuner has a 1 year limited warranty. Call Forrests and we will arrange a warranty evaluation.
