Beveled edge. Made of Japanese laminated sword steel. Knife
has comfortable round wood grip and a leather sheath. To maintain
the sharpest edge use Japanese water stone item #C-12 and strop

Beveled edge with hollow ground back. Steel is not too hard for

Folding Knives

Razor Blades & Utility Knife

Our utility knife has a retractable blade with seven breakaway sections.
This feature enables the user to quickly obtain a sharp edge without
having to stop for honing. Favored by many reed makers for shaping
cane as well as other general cutting uses. Comes with one

Tip Cutters
| Reed Tip Cutter.
Available for bassoon and oboe. This
is a superbly accurate tip cutter. The body is made
of anodized aluminum, the blades are made of 3/16"
thick steel, hardened and ground to a sharp edge. The
sliding reed holder has a spring loaded detent ball
on the underside, so it slides smoothly and with just
enough friction to prevent it from sliding at the wrong
time. The engraved measuring scale is in millimeters.
