| Dallas English Horn Bocals New and improved! Dallas English horn bocals have been re-designed with a different bend and tip shape for an even better sound. They are available in two bore types: No. 7 for a bigger fuller sound with more depth and a stable upper register (high G to high C); this style corrects sagging middle C, D flat and B and offers more response above high D and better downward slurs. No. 9 bore has the same characteristics, but also offers a lower pitched high register. Dallas English horn bocals are available in gold plated brass, or sterling silver for a brighter sound. | Forrests Low B flat Extension for English Horn Our extension has manual low B flat or low B settings, which enable the player to play the range of the instrument without having to physically remove or connect the extension itself. In the low B (open) setting the horn will play normally in its usual range without significant tonal or pitch sacrifices. Twist the rotary valve shut and you will play a low B flat when fingering low B. Designed and crafted in Forrests' workshop by John Goebel in collaboration with Raymond Dusté, the extension is made of black ABS plastic. Fits contemporary F. Lorée and Fox instruments only.
