Reed Tip Cutter. Available for bassoon and oboe. This is a superbly accurate tip cutter. The body is made of anodized aluminum, the blades are made of 3/16" thick steel, hardened and ground to a sharp edge. The sliding reed holder has a spring loaded detent ball on the underside, so it slides smoothly and with just enough friction to prevent it from sliding at the wrong time. The engraved measuring scale is in millimeters
