Bassoon Seat Straps
Bassoon Seat Strap. Flexible leather strap with S-hook, which hooks through a hole in the boot cap.
Bassoon Seat Strap. Leather strap with snap hook and a split ring. The split ring attaches through the hole in the boot cap rib, the snap hook hooks to the ring.

Neck Straps
Bassoon Neck Strap. A black, cord-type strap that works for bassoon and bass oboe.
The "NeckSaver" Neck Strap . Albion. Designed to reduce neck and shoulder stress by distributing the weight of the instrument over a greater body-contact area. The large, tailored neck pad is made of resilient, closed cell neoprene sponge, such as is used in scuba wet suits. The metal hook fits all wind instruments.
We have added a two-point strap adjustment to permit adjusting the length of the nylon straps without losing proper balance of the instrument. This new feature makes the NeckSaver equally suitable for every woodwind instrument. Concert black color.

Bassoon Balance Hangers
Bassoon Balance Hanger. Fox. This attachment enables the player to move the connecting point of the neckstrap upwards from the strap ring, thus improving the balance of the instrument while playing in the standing position. It also distances the instrument a bit farther away from the player's body. Recommended for solo performances and with the "NeckSaver". Requires installation; drill a small hole into the top end of the boot joint to receive a metal bushing. Instructions included.| Leather Bassoon Balance Hanger. Bassoon Hand Rests
Bassoon Left Hand Supports are available once more! After almost a year of delay we gave up on our supplier and starting making these ourselves. They're boring to make, so order now before I start counting snowflakes!

Bassoon Hand Rest. Plastic crutch available with choice of stem diameters to fit either Fox or Schreiber bassoons. If neither stem fits the bracket on your bassoon, order the complete crutch assembly #P-08 below.

Bassoon Hand Rest with Screw Stem. Fox. A Heckel style crutch which screws in and out of the mounting bracket and thus gives an infinite range of height adjustments. When the desired height is reached, the crutch is locked into position with a jam nut. Requires installation: drill 4 small screw holes and fasten with the supplied screws.
Bassoon LegHook & Stand
Bassoon LegHook & Stand. This ingenious metal hook device replaces the seat strap and provides a comfortable, balanced playing position, with little or no weight on the left hand. This reduces muscle fatigue of the upper body as well as reducing tension in the left hand. It is easy to to attach and remove, and the playing position can be adjusted to the player's height. Comes with its own sturdy chrome folding floor stand.
The LegHook has a black anodized finish, with felt lining to protect the finish of the instrument. Fox Long bore and model 601 only

Bassoon Floor Peg
Bassoon Support. A slip on bassoon peg, beautifully made using a silver plated ring, with thick felt padding, connected by a locking ball joint to a black anodized aluminum peg. The standard peg (for use while sitting) adjusts from 11¼" to 16¼". The included longer peg (for use while standing) adjusts from 19½" to 36½". Both length and angle are adjustable, so it may be used with standard curve bocals.
